Lock opening schedules


Over most all of the network, the locks are open to navigation all year round except January 1st, Easter Sunday, May 1st, July 14th, November 11th and December 25th, on the following schedule:

The locks from Amfreville to Suresnes are open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Special schedules are followed at Bougival on Sunday (8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
Except for Bougival, a passage can be obtained every day from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (1).

The locks from Port à l’Anglais to Marolles are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays and from December 26th to December 31st.
From Monday to Friday, a passage can be obtained from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. (locks from Port à l’Anglais to Vives Eaux), from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (locks from La Cave to Marolles)(1).

Locks from Saint Maurice to Créteil are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekends.
From Monday to Friday, a passage can be obtained from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. except on the day before days of closure (1).
 
Locks from Saint Maur to Saint Jean les Deux Jumeaux are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, and from December 26th to 31st (excluding weekends), they are open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
 
During the week, a passage can be obtained from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., which is billed specifically. The request must be made to the Meaux subdivision (Phone 01.60.24.76.76).
 
Locks upstream of Saint Jean les Deux Jumeaux are open in all seasons from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the high season from April 1st to October 31st, they are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In the low season from November 1st to March 31st, they are open on Saturdays and from December 26th to 31st (excluding weekends) from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
 
(1) Passages outside the normal opening hours are subject to specific billing. The request has to be made to the Sondages Regulation subdivision (Phone 01.30.22.45.00).
